Jefferey Lamar Williams truly came alive in the mid 2010s. He had been making music for a while, but eventually everyone gets their break, and starting around 2014, Young Thug began to emerge as one of the key voices of a new mumbly trap sound. Here are the top five Thug songs of the past decade, not including unreleased.

5. Memo
This one was perfect for it's time, as I don't know if there's any song that it's easier to "hit the folks" to. Might be top 1 speaker song of all time, if you get the memo.
4. With That ft. Duke
This is the type of song that you listen to and just think to yourself, "how did he come up with that?". See what I did there? Absolutely one of the pioneering hooks of the 2010s.
3. Guwop ft. Young Scooter, Quavo, Offset
The first time I heard this, I certainly thought it was one of the most beautiful rap songs I'd ever heard. Everyone does a great job, and it feels like the song is just never going to end. One of the best melodies of the decade, excellent job from Thug here on incorporating an R&B sound into his usual mumble trap.
2. Digits
Do horses stop? No, they keep going.
1. Floyd Mayweather ft. Gunna, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott
Truly has a case as the best non-Weeknd song of the past decade. I shouldn't have put Travis Scott last in the feature order, because that is his best verse of all time. 7 minutes of pure ecstasy, this one in its prime makes you feel like a different person.
I'm unaware of what crimes Williams may or may not have committed, so out of a place of moral decency I won't make any political statements regarding his current situation. These are my personal top five, and I hope it's agreed upon. Stay tuned for real talk about some of his unreleased work.
